Returns and Warranty
We want you to be completely satisfied with everything you purchase from SHOPBABY.
If for any reason you wish to return the product to us, you can do so within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the product is unused, in its original packaging and with the original receipt. You may choose between an exchange or credit note within this time. The cost of freight for the return product will be your responsibility.
Refunds are only offered if a product is deemed to have a major fault where a repair is not available.
Credit Notes must be used within 3 years of being issued. If you wish to organise a return please contact our customer service team on firstname.lastname@example.org. Returns will not be accepted without a valid reference number, which will be issued by our customer service team.
Refunds, exchanges or credits cannot be given for special order or custom made items. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if items are returned used, soiled or damaged or without the original packaging. Once goods have been received by SHOPBABY will arrange the exchange, credit note or refund. Postage and handling charges of returned products are not refundable unless a product is deemed faulty.
It is recommended that you send your return package by receipted or express post as SHOPBABY will not accept responsibility for any product lost or damaged in transit.
Incorrect Goods Supplied
If SHOPBABY supplies you with an incorrect product, we will supply you with the correct product once the incorrect product has been returned to us. In the event of a wrong product being supplied, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your goods. The freight cost incurred will be paid by SHOPBABY.
Products carry a manufacturers’ warranty which covers the product against manufacturing fault and defect. Warranty periods will vary between products and you should consult your product information manual to determine the warranty period which applies to the product you have purchased.
Please retain your proof of purchase in a secure place. SHOPBABY is unable to process any claims without a valid proof of purchase.
Please take the time to read your products instruction manual on receipt. If the product information booklet is not contained within your package, please contact us immediately so a replacement booklet can be sent out.
Please note that Manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:
- failure due to improper care, or normal wear and tear caused by product use or unauthorised alterations
- accidental damage (expect for where the product has been damaged in freight prior to the customer accepting the goods whereby shopbaby.com.au will arrange repair or replacement)
- rust or corrosion
- normal maintenance costs
- tubes, tyres and harness clips
- not following instructions
- child left unattended
- safety harness not used
- excessive load
- use outside that contained in the relevant product instruction booklet
The product warranty automatically terminates on sale of your goods to a new owner, irrespective of the stated warranty periods detailed in the relevant product instruction and warranty booklet.
